Funeral services for Mrs. Louisa E. Jeffries were held Monday afternoon in the Hitchcock Methodist Church with Rev. John Winkler officating. Burial was in the IOOF cemetery under the Keller Landis Funeral Home of Okeene.
Mrs. Jeffries, who had lived in Hitchcock community for the past 45 years was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Birt of the home, a son Joe, a daughter Mrs. Millard Nigh, Wichita, KS, 4 sisters, Mrs. Sarah Ellis, Fairview; Mrs. Catherine Fleshman, Watonga; Mrs. Cena Lorenz, Toleda, Oregon and Mrs. Rosannah Blubaugh, Tonkawa and four brothers, Arthur and Jesse Oxley, Watonga, James Oxley, Toledo, Oregan and T.S. Oxley, Enid, 6 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
