Minnie Pomrankey (Randall) 82, of Kennewick and a former long time resident of Brewster died Friday, February 19, 1999 in the Kennewick Life Care Center. She was born December 18, 1916, the daughter of Edward and Ethel (O'Grady) Randall at Watford, North Dakota. Moving with her family to Everett where she attended school.

On October 13, 1933, she married Harold Pomrankey at Everett. They moved to Sand Point, Idaho in 1951 and then to Brewster in 1964 where they owned and operated the Virginia City Motel retiring in 1977.

Minnie was a member of the Brewster Senior Citizens Center and TOPS. Her husband preceded her in death in 1997 after which she moved to Kennewick to be near her son and family.

She is survived by her son, Doug Pomrankey of Kennewick, two daughters, Arlene Richardson and Anita Sowards both of Las Vegas, Nevada; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. A sister, Dorothy Marrow of Seattle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, five brother and three sisters.

Services were conducted Tuesday, February 23, 1999 at 1 pm from the Barnes Chapel, Brewster, with Pastor Forrest Bushing officiating. Interment followed at the Brewster Cemetery. Services under the direction of Barnes Chapel, Brewster.
