William Cochran

William A. Cochran, 67, a former resident of Tacoma, died Friday on Bainbridge Island.

Mr. Cochran was born in Tacoma, where he resided until 1939, when he began his career in the Navy.

He retired as a commander in 1976 and moved to Bainbridge Island.

He was a member of the Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church and a member of Masonic organizations.

Survivors include his wife, . . . , a son, . . . ; four daughters, . . . ; three brothers, John of Gig Harbor and Herbert and Robert, both of Seattle, and seven grandchildren.

Owyen Funeral Home on Bainbridge Island is in charge.
