Charles E. Hoak, 73, of Lincoln Borough, died yesterday at 6 p.m. he was born Sept 11, 1887, in McKeesport. He was retired from the old Wood Works. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Susan Hoak, a daughter, Mrs. Lillian Little of Jefferson, nine sons, Elmer, Charles and Blair Hoak, all of McKeesport, Allen of Versailles, Edward and Roy, both of Jefferson, Paul of Boston, Jack of Lincoln Borough and Neil with the U. S. Army in Korea; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Susan Allen of McKeesport and Mrs. Olive Scogin of Corpus Christi, TX; and two brothers, Herbert Hoak of Jefferson and Kelso Hoak of Farrell. The family will receive friends at the Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p. m. Services will be conducted Friday at 1:30 p. m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Conway Kiebler officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
