Patty Alexander, 73, passed away at 12:16 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009, at Carle Hospital in Urbana.

She was born in Danville, Il. to Jim and Vivian Allison Shaw. She married William R. "Bill" Alexander on Dec. 24, 1953. He passed away Sept. 12, 2004.

Survivors include, two daughters, Julie (Jeff) Goodner of Fairmount and Shana (Kenny) Dailey also of Fairmount; one brother, Gary (Gloria) Shaw of Michigan; one sister, Pamela (Larry) Quick of Danville; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two brothers.
