Shirley J. McKee, 61, Mumby's Golden Age Village, Portland, died Monday afternoon at Jay County Hospital.
She was born in Portland on March 27, 1925 and was the daughter of Norman and Helen (Wright) Petschke.
She was married to John McKee Jr. on Jan. 15, 1947. He survives.
She was a retired employee of the Jay Garment Company, where she worked for 21 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary and the Women of the Moose.
Surviing besides her husband are a son, Steven McKee, Portland; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Barbara) Hambrock, Portland, Mrs. Steve (Carol)Doney, LaGrange; a half brother, Garth Kikendall, Glendale,Calif., 11 granchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held ay 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Baird-Freeman Funeeral Home, Portland.
Calling hours will be held from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday.
Burial will be in Green Park Cemetery.
