Alice L. (Newton) Edwards, age 87, died Wednesday, March 14th at 12:52 A.M. at the Friendship Care Center in Marion.
Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 16th at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Dr. Bob Wagner officiating. Burial followed in Maplewood Cemetery, Marion. Visitation was from 5-9 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Edwards was born February 16, 1914, in Trigg County, Kentucky, to Oscar C. and Fannie (Robinson) Newton. She married Earl Edwards in Marion. He died on January 2, 1977.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, Bill Newton, one grandson, Bobby L. Stewart, Jr., and two infant great-grandchildren.
