Mrs. Cora B. Fraley Succumbs at Age 58 at McDowell Hospital
Mrs. Cora B. Fraley, 58, of Printer, succumbed Sunday at the McDowell Appalachian Regional hospital to an illness of four years. She was a daughter of the late Wiley and Henrietta Hopkins Newsome and was the wife of George Fraley, who survives. Also surviving are three sons and five daughters, Harold Fraley of Hippo; Charles Fraley of Limestone, Maine; Phillip Fraley, Mrs. Avean Martin and Mrs. Kay Vanover, all of Milford, IN; Mrs. Patty Robinson of Langley; Mrs. Bessie Hall ofDetroit, MI and Miss Joan Fraley of Printer; two brothers, Phillip and Ben Newsome both of McDowell and three sisters, Mrs. Melvina Berry of Dayton, OH; Mrs. Nora Martin and Mrs. Milton Ramsey both of McDowell. Mrs. Fraley also leaves 11 grandchildren. Funeral rites were conducted Wednesdat at 10am from the Salisbury Regular Baptist church, ministers of that church officiating. Burial was made in the Newman cemetery at Hi Hat under the direction of the Hall Brothers Funeral Home.
