Louise was born September 12 1917, in Gower. She has lived in St. Joseph since 1982.
She worked for Cramer Chair Company in Kansas City for 25 years, retiring as a Machine Operator in 1982.
Preceding her in death by her parents, James and Nancy (Mitchell) Maddox; 3 brothers, James, Lowell and William Maddox; 2 sisters, Helen Colley and Alice Atkins.
Survivors include daughter, Joyce Cordonnier, St. Joseph; son, Jack Bennett, Plattsburg; 3 sisters, Ruth Veraguth, Bertha Mitchell, both of St. Joseph and Geraldine Leach, Elwood KS; 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Heaton-Bowman-Smith and Sidenfaen Chapel with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery, both of St. Joseph.
Memorial donations may be made to the Hands of Hope Hospice.
