Our beloved husband, father, son, brother, grandson, friend, and advocate returned to our Heavenly Father on September 5, 2009.
He was born October 26, 1970 in Salt Lake City to Kent Arthur Nebeker and Patricia Anne Leese, the eldest and only son of seven children.
He married his sweetheart, Taunya Kaye Tuke, on May 3, 1996 in the Logan Utah Temple for time and eternity. Their three little miracles, Cannon Arthur, Connor Austin, and Corbin Anders, came as a long-awaited blessing on December 24, 2002.
Evan was a recipient of a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah. He then earned a Juris Doctorate from Capital University School of Law. After passing the Utah State Bar, he was employed by the State of Utah as a Guardian ad Litem in Third District Court.
Evan spent his life in the service of others. He was a devoted family man, dedicated missionary, trusted and valued friend, and a voice for those who had no other. As we feel him ever present in our lives and rejoice in the blessings of his legacy, we look forward to seeing him again. Evan, we love you.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 11, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Pebble Hills Ward Chapel, 8735 South 1065 East. Viewings will be held at the chapel on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday one hour prior to the services.
Interment will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
