BENJAMIN WILLIAMS
---Benjamin G. Williams, seventy-four, a life-long resident of La Plata, died at his home here this afternoon after a weeks illness of pneumonia.
---Benjamin G. Williams was born in Putnam County, Missouri, a son of Benjamin and Rebecca Williams.
---He was united in marriage to Margaret Allen on November 8, 1900 and to them six children were born, one son died in infancy. Those with the widow surviving include Cecil of California, Mrs. Maxine Lippincott of South Carolina, Lowell Williams of Kentucky, Mrs. Mary Conn and Jesse Williams of Kirksville; four grandchildren, Travine Lippincott of South Carolina, Catherine and Joe Conn who live with their grandparents here and Patricia Williams of Kentucky. There are also three sisters, Mrs. Rhoda Brown of Compton, California, Mrs. Sadie Morris of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Mrs. Isabell Chance of Wichita, Kansas.
---Mrs. Williams was a member of the Methodist Church having joined when a young man.
---No arrangements have as yet been made for the funeral on account of waiting to hear from the children in other states.
---Burial rites will be made at Elmer.
