Achatz- Frank Xavier, aged 82, died of exhaustion due to his advanced age at his late home, 648 Born Street, early Saturday. He was a member of the Gambrinus Beneficial society and also St. Francis Xavier society. Mr. Achatz, who was a native of Bavaria, Germany, came to this country more than a half century ago. He is survived by two sons, August and Ollie, and seven daughters, Mrs. Kate Moehl, Mrs. Theresa Mangold, Mrs. Mary Welsh, Mrs. Frances Boyer, Mrs. Lula Hadler, Mrs. Barbara Butler, and Mrs, Anna Krauss. He also leaves 25 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held from the residence at 8:30 a.m. Monday, and services will be held in St. Mary's church at 9 o'clock. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Herman L Meader in charge.
