Notice is issued to all heirs of the estate of Rhoda Battles
Orphan Court special term 26th of Octobert A.D. 1848 where as this court has this day been informed that Rhoda Battles (late consort of Nelson Battles deceased) departed this life on the 14th day of September 1848. It is threfore ordered by the court that notice issue to all the heirs of the estate of said decedent which are as follows (to wit):
to Jefferson Battles who is of lawful age
to Jacob Battles who is a minor of said estate
to Martha wife of Raleigh Battles and heir of said estate
to Rindy wife of Jermeiah Whisenant
to Catherine wife of John Walley
to Mallissa (Melissa) Battles a minor and heir of said estate
To be personally appear at a special term of the Orphans Court to be held in and of said county at the courthouse in the town of Ashville on Wednesday the 1st day of November next and shew cause why letters of administration should not be granted with the will annexed upon the estate.
