They had one daughter, Vera Marie (1910-1984). Mary died Dec 4 1910 and he married Altha Adeline Lancaster. Altha's first marriage to James Patterson, one daughter Dorothy L. (1910-1950). James was killed in a Mill accident 22 Nov 1910. Sylvester and Altha married 3 Sep 1911 in Vanduser, MO. They had three children, Margie (1920-1987), Sylvester JR (1920-1991) and Alfred David )1923-2005)
