CATHARINE ELIZABETH STIFFLER, one of the first settlers of the northern part of this county, died on Saturday last. Mrs. Stiffler was born in Bedford county, her maiden name being Helsel. She was married to Jacob Stiffler in 1821 and moved to this county in 1827, where she has resided during her 67 years of married life.
