Richard A Christman 55 of Easton passed away last night in Easton Hospital where he was admitted April 7.He was on disability due to illness since 1977.
Born in Allentown on March 5,1925,he was the son of he late Richard O.and Susanna E.A.Dorney Chrisman.He moved to Easton from Allentown in 1951.
He was employed by Binney & Smith,Forks Twp as a custodian.He formerly was employed by Hotel Easton and the former Transgram Co.Easton.
Mr Christman was an Army veteran of World War 11 serving overseas in China.He was a member of the AMVets of Easton,Order of the Fleas.Liberty Hose Co. and the Varsity E Club,all of Easton.
Surviving are his wife Jennie M Pritchard Farber,son Barry L of Allentown,two stepsons Harold J Pritchard Sr. and Robert C Farber bothof Easton,a stepdaughter Mrs Joanne E Voletto,Easton.A sister Mrs Brydan Fegley of Emmaus;a granddaughter;five step grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in deat my a sister Mildred G Hillegass.
