OBITUARIES
Jennifer G. Ferris, 89, of Pine
Plains, died Monday, Dec. 28, at Nor-
thern Dutchess Hospital, Rhinebeck.
An eight-year resident, she former-
ly lived in Florida and Connecticut.
She had been a self-employed
housekeeper in Greenwich, Conn,
many years ago.
She was born May 13, 1898, in Rye,
Westchester County, to John and
Laura O'Connor Hanlon.
Her husband, Frank Ferris, died in
1958.
She is survived by a grand-
daughter, Laura Van Assen of Stan-
fordville; two great-grandchildren;
and several nieces and nephews.
A son, Robert Ferris, and a
daughter, Lorraine Van Assen, both
predeceased her.
Services were private and at the
convenience of the family.
Burial was in St. Stephen's
Cemetery, Armonk.
Donations may be made to the
Multiple Sclerosis Mid-Hudson
Chapter, 74 American Legion Way,
New City, N.Y. 10956.
Arrangements were under the
direction of the Peck & Peck Funeral
Home, South Main Street, Pine
Plains.
