Ivanhoe, Texas -- Funeral services for Christopher Lee Naylor, 35, of Ivanhoe, will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Brian Everett will officiate.

Burial with Military honors will follow in Randolph Lindsey Cemetery.

Chris passed away Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009.

Chris was born October 12, 1973 in Forth Worth, Texas, the son of John Lawrence "Butch" Naylor, Jr. and Gayla McCain Naylor. He was a graduate of Sam Rayburn High School.

Chris served in the US Army where he was an Apache helicopter crew chief.

He was a roughneck on Diamond offshore oil rigs.

Chris enjoyed heavy metal music.

He was a member of Telephone Baptist Church. Chris was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandfather, Hugh Melvin McCain and paternal grandfather, Ike Z. Phillips.

Daughters: Sarah Lynn Naylor and Danielle "Dani" Naylor of McKinney
Parents: Gayla and John Phillips of Ivanhoe
Brother: John Lawrence Naylor , III of Sherman
Paternal Grandmother: Johnnie Frances Naylor of Elwood
Paternal Grandfather: John L. Naylor Sr. of Ivanhoe
Paternal Grandmother: Doris Evelyn Phillips of Bonham
Maternal grandmother: Eloise McCain of Bonham
Step Brothers: Christopher Lynn Phillips of Virginia
John Adam Dell Phillips of Blue Ridge
Step Sister: Amber Michelle Phillips of Louisiana
