She died very shortly after the birth of her son JOHN CHRISS PREWETT (PRUITT) McABEE. He was raised by FLORENCE McABEE PREWETT's (PRUITT) mother and father. JOHN CHRIS used the name of McABEE instead of PREWETT (PRUITT). In the year 2009, FLORENCE's tombstone was added by the Walnut Grove United Medthodist Church Heritage Committee.
