Maggie and James came from Trenton, New Jersey. They were married in Pennsylvania on May 19, 1859. They later moved to Schnectady, N.Y. James brother Ruben B. Warner married Mary E. Halstead. Rueben fought in the Civil War and is buried in the family plot in Riverview Cemetery in Trenton, N.J. Reuben and Mary had a daughter Margaretta born on October 12, 1870. Reuben died leaving Mary a widow and she later remarried.
