Oliver Wing was the 2nd child of Eleanor (Frazee) & Grindall "Henry" Wing. He was killed in an accident by a falling tree while clearing timber for a road. His father, Henry, was killed in a similar accident two years previous while clearing for the Ottawa to Defiance road.
