Mrs. Emma Goerig, whose home was at 620 Lane E, died unexpectedly Friday at the age of 72 years, her death attributed to a heart condition. She was the widow of Walter Goerig and came to Hastings two years ago from Blue Hill.
Mrs. Goerig who was born September 29, 1887, in Roseland, was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.
Rosary was held Sunday evening at the Merten Butler Chapel. Services were held at Holy Trinity church at 9:30 Monday morning. Burial was in the Blue Hill Catholic cemetery.
