WALNUT COVE-Mr. Dennis DeWayne Bowles, 50, died Friday, July 17, 2009. He was born in Asheville, NC. His parents are Kenneth Wayne and Frances Jane Sinclair Bowles. He was employed by B & B Small Animal and enjoyed fishing, carpentry, yard work and NASCAR racing.
Surviving are his parents; son, Dennis DeWayne Bowles, Jr.; grandchildren, Mandy and Tylor Bowles; siblings, Lori (Brad) Cook and Dereck (Tammy) Bowles; special friends, Sandra Bowles and Howard Taylor; four nieces and one nephew.
A 12:30 pm graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at New Birth Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service at his parents' home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Birth Baptist Church, P O Box 986, Walnut Cove, NC 27052.
