She was born in Wakeman and graduated from Wellington High School in 1936.

Mrs. Ingersoll was a member of the first licenced practical nurse graduating class at Lorain County Community College and worked as a nurse at EMH Regional Medical Center. She had previously been employed at Cleveland Steel.

She loved to garden and enjoyed crossword puzzles.

Survivors include her daughter, Margaret Jane French of LaGrange; her parents, William and Lella (nee Peck) Tudor; sons Charles Ingersoll Jr. of Amherst, Michael Ingersoll of Vermilion and Patric Ingersoll of Elyria; sisters Freda
Hilliker of Wellington and Mary Smith of Elyria; and four grandchildren and two great grand children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ingersoll, in 1999; her parents, William and Lella (nee Peck) Tudor; sisters Helen Stark and Margaret Washburn; and brothers, William Tudor and Henry Tudor.

No funeral service will be held at this time. Private burial will take place later in Camden Cemetery.
