Weston Hall enlisted as a 30 year old Private in Company E, 103rd Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry on December 7, 1861, mustering into service the same day. Captured April 20, 1864 at Plymouth, North Carolina, he was later paroled but died December 20, 1864 at Annapolis, Maryland and is buried at Annapolis National Cemetery.
