DEATH OF MRS. P. H. ROYSTER.
Durham Lady Passed Away at Her Home Yesterday at Noon.
Mrs. P. H. Royster died at her home near Bragtown yesterday at 12:30 o’clock. Death resulted from a complication of diseases, Mrs. Royster having been ill but a short while. The deceased was fifty-seven years of age. She had been a consistent member of the Baptist church for many years and was a lady of strong character. Her demise will be sincerely mourned by a host of friends.
Mrs. Royster is survived by a husband, P. H. Royster, and eight children, whose names follow: R. H. Royster, Norfolk, Va.; E.T., H. C., P. H., Jr., Durham; Mrs. W. H. Stanley, Mrs. I. P. Teasley, Mrs. R. E. Smith, Miss Socotia Royster, all of whim [sic] reside in this city. A brother, Frank L. Currin, lives in Oxford and two sisters survive, Mrs. Watt Elam, of Buffalo, N. Y., and Mrs. G. Bowling, of Greenville, N. C.
The funeral services will be conducted from the home this afternoon at 2 o’clock, Rev. Q. C. Davis, officiating. Interment will be made at Maplewood cemetery.

The funeral services of Mrs. P. H. Royster, of Bragtown, who died yesterday afternoon, were held from the residence this afternoon. Rev. Q. C. Davi?, pastor of the East Durham Baptist church officiated. Burial took place at Maplewood cemetery. Mrs. Royster was 57 years old and is survived by a husband and eight children: R. H. Royster, of Norfolk, Va.; E. F Royster, H. C. Royster and P. H. Royster, Jr., of Durham; Mrs. W. H. Stanley, Mrs. J. P. Teasley, Mrs. R. E. Smith and Miss Scotia Royster, of Durham A brother, F. L. Currin; of Wilton, and two sisters, Mrs. W. Elam, of Buffalo, Va., and Mrs. J. G. Bowling, of Greenville, S. C., also survive. The pall and floral bearers were the relatives of the deceased.
