The daughter of Mount Etna and Annie "Helen" Adamson, June and her brother were raised in Miller and Trenton, Missouri.
June married D. Fred Croce in November 26, 1944 at Trenton, Missouri. She was a student at Northwest Missouri State Teachers College, Fred was a chief petty officer in the US Navy and a naval instructer at the college. Fred's hometown was Oakland, California. They started married life in Maryville, Missouri after a honeymoon in Chicago.

She is GRANDMOTHER to several children.
June is the DAUGHTER of the MO. STATE TREASURER, serving for three terms - M.E. Morris.
Interestingly, everyone says that regardless of who her FATHER was or whatever big public office he was elected to, the really big claim-to-fame in the family was her MOTHER, Mrs. Morris!
June is the NIECE of the famed Ozarks reporter and author - Lucile Morris Upton.
June is also the NIECE of A. George Morris, Superintendent of Fish Hatcheries for the MO CONSERVATION COMMISSION.

Mrs. C. was tall and lanky woman who moved with such grace -- and with a marvelous voice. She had a touch of smooth grace in her movement and in her style - a lovely woman.
Mrs. C. had an appreciation for taking slow afternoon strolls around her side lawn's reflection pond. If you happen in that yard once more and listen very carefully, you might hear the rustling of leaves in the breeze;
However, I feel it is the spirit of June Croce taking an autumn walk through her enchanting yard one more time...
The family home was a large rambling place filled with heirlooms and touches from her own life. There were Delft tiles in the kithen along with one of the first stainless steelfronted frigs in a private home; She had a pair of large Royal Doulton double-figurines in the dining room on a large oak display piece, a gigantic hall mirror covered the entire wall in the foyer, and a lively, sweet brown & white corgi named: 'NERO' was housed in the backyard!
She was a lovely, lovely lady, and was of the Catholic faith.
