of North Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Mrs. Catherine Willis are
invited to attend her funeral service in Heritage Holiness Church, 3836 Ladson
Road in North Charleston, Monday, December 27, 2010, at 11 AM. Interment,
Bethany Cemetery. Friends may call at the Heritage Holiness Church on Sunday,
between six and eight o'clock. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS
CHAPEL. Mrs. Willis was born on June 7, 1931, in Charleston, SC the daughter of
Herman Bernard and Edith Cumbee Hiott Bernard. She was a sponsor of the Carolina
Dancers and a member of the Heritage Holiness Church. She is survived by her
sons, Louis A. Willis and his wife Debra of Charleston, SC and William Willis of
Summerville, SC; daughters, Mary Louise Clark Holley and her husband Les of
Summerville, SC and Jean Camp and her husband David of Augusta, GA; 17
grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren and one on the way. She was preceded
in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Delores and Gene Turknett; and her
brother, Wilfred "Will" Bernard.
