Plainview- The funeral for Morgan Michael Lee, 66 of Plainview, will be a 2 p.m. Thursday in Peace United Methodist Church in Plainview/Elgin, with the Rev. Deanna Woodward officiating. Burial will be at p.m. Friday in St. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Conception, with military rites by the Plainview American Legion.

Mr. Lee died Sunday(Sept. 4,2005) at Saint Mary's Hospital in Rochester. He was born April 15, 1939, in Kellogg. He attended Plainview Elementary and High School. He served in the army from 1956 to 1958 in Germany. He married Cleo R Fenske in Plainview on Aug, 21 1970. He was a lifetime resident of the Plainview and Elgin area. He worked as a mechanic for Stephan Ford in Plainview, did road construction work and was a truck driver for I.T, Bud Meyer and Bennett and Sons. He also worked as an apprentice electrician. He enjoyed welding, fabricating, reading, hunting, antiquing and cats.

Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Kelly(Daniel)Harker of Mazeppa and Kristen Lee of Wabasha; two sons, Thomas (Vicky)Hammersma of Wanamingo and Ted (Barb)Hamersma of Buffalo, Wyo.; six grandchildren; one great grandson; five sisters, Peggy O'Neil of Plainview, Carol Judge and Carmena Melvin, both of Rochester, Rose E. Lee of Baraboo Wis. and Marie (William) Goede of Plainview; and one brother, Robert P. Lee of St. Paul. He was preceded in death by a sister, a brother and an infant step-son.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Schleicher Funeral Home, Plainview Chapel, and an hour before the service at the church on Thursday.
