MOULTON — Funeral for Celia Merle Terry, 69, of Moulton will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Mount Moriah United Methodist Church with the Rev. Keith Murner and the Rev. Robert Sanderson officiating.
Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. The body will be in the church one hour before the service.
Mrs. Terry died Monday, Jan. 20, 2003, at her home. She was born May 12, 1933, in Lawrence County, to Odis Terry and Opal Stoopes Terry. She was retired as a certified nursing assistant after 20 years, 15 of them with Lawrence County Hospital and five with Lawrence County Home Health. Mrs. Terry was the mother of the late Scott "Buddy" Terry and a member of Mount Moriah Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ben Wallace Terry; one son, Lawrence Terry of Moulton; four daughters, Bonnie Burnett of Leighton, Donna Morgan Winchester of Decatur, Becky Terry of Town Creek and Heather Letson of Moulton; one brother, Marion Terry of Courtland; four sisters, Doris Grimes, Barbara Brannon and Lila Graham, all of Moulton and Peggy Richey of Decatur; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Chad Morgan, Larry Brannon, Brian Warren, Aaron Burnett, Eric Tidwell, and Mike Winchester.
