June T. Grundy, 79, of Grafton died Tuesday at EMH Regional Medical Center after a short illness.
Born in Grafton, she lived in Grafton for 30 years.
A former member of the 169 Board of Mental Retardation of Lorain, she remained actively involved in many places of the board until her death.
She was a former member of the United Methodist Church of Westlake.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, George; duaghters, Gail McConaghey of Pembrooke Pines, Fla., Diane Mc Cullough of Valley City, Donna Watson of Atlanta, and Sally Sue Grundy of Lorain; sons, Grant of Sullivan and Robert of Nova; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Louise, in October.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Blackburn Funeral Home, 1021 Main St., Grafton, where services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Roger Herman of Sullivan will officiate.
Burial will be in Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
Memorials may be made to the Mental Retardation Board's East 32nd Street Group Home, Lorain.
