Otto Bellows 23, shot and killed his mother Mrs. Alice May Bellows and wounded his sister Lorena Bellows (Dresden) over the death of his father earlier in the year. After the death of his father his mother hired a farm hand to run the farm and Otto was never happy after that. To show his disapproval he came after the farm hand, his sister and mother with a rifle. After killing his mother he then shot himself in the head and died 24 hrs later. Farm hand did get away and was not harmed, but Lorena Bellows Dresden lived with a bullet in right shoulder for 66 yrs before her death in 1980.
