Obituary
Eliza Zeller Lehman, was born in Elk township, Penn., April 27, 1820 and died at the home of her son in Patterson, Ia., April 20, 1901. If she had been permitted to live one week more she would have been eighty one years old. She was married to John Lehman May 25, 1844 who preceded her to the other world about five years ago. To them were born nine children four of whom are still living. She was converted at the age of eighteen and joined the Lutheran church after this she joined the M. E. church, of which she was a faithful, consistent member until her death. The funeral was conducted at the M. E. church in Patterson, Sunday April 21 by her pastor Rev. G. W. Palmer.

Mrs. Lehman of Patterson, an old and respected resident of this place died at her home in Patterson on last Saturday morning and was buried on Sunday at the McGinnis cemetery.
