Ernestine, a lifelong resident of Rio Chiquito, was predeceased by her husband, Albino Trujillo; sons: Albino Trujillo Jr. and Robert Trujillo; parents: Marcos and Higinia Trujillo; brothers: Pula and Reyes Trujillo.
Ernestine was survived by her children: Jerry Trujillo (wife Marie), Paul Trujillo (wife Patsy), Manuel Trujillo (wife Sandra), Marcos Trujillo (wife Louise), Pita Trujillo (companion Jesse Sanchez) and daughter-in-law, Jean Trujillo all of Rio Chiquito; sisters: Dulcinea Vigil (husband Dimas) and Toni Lopez (husband Alferio) all of Rio Chiquito; sisters-in-law: Dolores Vigil of Rio Chiquito and Tina E. Trujillo of Chimayo; and numerous grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and other relatives and friends.
A rosary was recited on 31 December 2006 in the Chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary. Mass of the Resurrection was on 2 January 2007 at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo. Burial followed at the Rio Chiquito Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jerry, Paul, Manuel, Marcos, Armando and Pablito Trujillo. Serving as honorary pallbearers were all of her grandchildren and great-grandchild.
