Mrs. Marian Bieri, 72, lifelong resident of Evart and Osceola Townships, died Sunday, December 18th at Hillcrest Nursing Home at Belleville,Ohio, after a long illness. Mrs. Bieri was born in Evart Township September 13, 1894. to Frank and Maggie Custer and was married to Alexander Bieri October 23, 1919. Surviving besides the husband are one daughter Dorothy and one son Donald; two grandchildren, Donald and Robert of Butler, Ohio; one brother Harry Custer of Evart; two sisters, Mrs. Ray (Lavena) Haggins of Detroit and Mrs. Hazel Gorthy of evart. Services were held Tuesday, December 20th at 2:30 at Bunker Hill Church in Butler, Ohio, and interment in Bunker Hill Cemetery with Rev. Lyle Hinkle officiating.
