Robert was born Feb. 6, 1928, in Minneapolis, to Leonard and Iva (Heuer) Aanerud. He grew up in Minneapolis, graduated from high school there and then attended Dunwoody Institue. he work most of hid life in the sheet metal and heating industry.
He Married Feb. 20, 1954. He seved in the US Army Reserve during the 1950's. In 1962 the family moved from Crystal to Maple Lake, and then to Monticell in 1985.
He was a charter member of the Maple Lake Baptist Church, and currently attended the Becker Baptist Church. He Enjoyed bird watching and wildlife of all kinds, and loved to fish.
