Noah W. Counts (8/12/1828;7-20-1870 on 3/25/1860 in Scott Co Married Harriet Q. Quillen (10/10/1838;11/17/1906) d of Elisha and Mary Ruth Agee Quillen. (Scott Co MR shows her mother's name as Lucy). They lived on a farm in Scott County. He taught school prior to the Civil War and was merchant for some years. He served in Co E, 64th VA Cav, "Mtd Infy," of the Conf Army.
