VERA D LAMBA service will be held 9 a.m. Friday at Worden Atwater Funeral Chapel for Vera Dorothy Lamb, 80 of Turlock, who died Sunday at a local hospital. Burial will be at Winton District Cemetery. Visitation is at the chapel from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday. A native of Van Buren, Ark she was raised in Oklahoma and moved to California in 1942. She and her husband, Calvin Lamb, settled in Livingston where they farmed and helped run the Norwalk Service Station on Highway 99 where the Beacon Station now stands. They moved to Turlock a year ago. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Mark of Coulterville, Glen of Yuba City and Wendel of Livingston; a daughter, Fern Williams of Salem, Ore.; two sisters, Eva Green of Stockton and Bertha Robinson of Stigler, Okla; a brother, Edward Reece of Garden Grove; 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild (Charles Jan 6 1986).
