Services for James C. Cardozier were held at 3 p.m. Friday in Mount Zion Methodist Church with the Revs. Jack Shaw, Richard Hoffpauir and Frank Chlastak officiating. There were Masonic graveside rites with burial in Mount Zion Cemetery under direction of Southern, Winnfield.

Cardozier, 89, of Montgomery, died at 1:15 a.m. Thursday, April 15, 1982 in Natchitoches Parish Hospital, Natchitoches. He was a native of Montogmery and was a retired school bus driver, cattleman, and farmer. He was a member of the Mount Zion Methodist Church and was a former chairman of the church's administrative board. He was also a member of the Montgomery Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Lelia M. Cardozier of Montgomery; one daughter, Juanita Kilpatrick of Natchitoches; one son, Dr. Ray Cardozier of Odessa, Texas, and four grandchildren.
