Funeral for Brenda Waggoner Pinkston, 52, of Nacogdoches will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Laird Funeral Home with the Rev. Sonny Scarbrough and the Rev. Ennis Fuller officiating. Burial will follow in Chireno Upper Cemetery. Pinkston died June 21, 2006, in Nacogdoches. Born Aug. 31, 1953, in Nacogdoches, she was the daughter of Mittie Adams Waggoner and Rayford Waggoner. She was employed as a food service employee for Nacogdoches ISD, and she was a Baptist. Survivors include husband, Darrell Pinkston of Nacogdoches; mother, Mittie Waggoner of Nacogdoches; daughters, Stephanie Baldassari of San Antonio and Kathrina Jacobs of Nacogdoches; step-daughters, Sharon Lowery of Nacogdoches and Karen Reed of Lufkin; step-son, Kenneth Pinkston of Nacogdoches; brother, Rayburn Waggoner of Nacogdoches; sisters, Diane Teague of Pecos and Carol Kennedy of Nacogdoches; two grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
