ALDRICH – In Sacramento, Cal., May 20, 1935, Ethel E. Aldrich, beloved daughter of Senora E. and the late Capt. James H. Aldrich, sister of Mrs. Ruth Myrick and Shafter J. Aldrich. A native of California. A member of Thomas H. Barry Auxilary No. 1, United Spanish War Veterans. Funeral services Thursday at 2 p.m. from W. F. Gormley and Sons Chapel, Sacramento.

ETHEL ALDRICH DIES ON COAST
Ethel E. Aldrich of Reno died late yesterday in Sacramento after an extended illness. She had never recovered from an operation to which she submitted in February in Sacramento. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from the W. F. Gormley and Sons chapel, with interment in East Lawn cemetery.

Active in business here since 1922, Miss Aldrich was in charge of the Manning hotel on Plaza hotel for the last eight years. Active in service work, she was secretary of the Thomas H. Barry Auxilary No. 1, United Spanish War Veterans.

Born in Oakland, Cal., Miss Aldrich was forty-three years old and a member of a well-known family. She was a second cousin of the late President William Howard Taft. Her father was the late Capt. James H. Aldrich, who served in the Spanish American War, and she was granddaughter of General Shafter, Spanish war general.

She is survived by her mother, Senora E. Aldrich, a brother, Shafter J. Aldrich, a sister, Mrs. Ruth Myrick, and two nieces, June Myrick and Norma Aldrich, all of Sacramento.
