Charles Eugene Garner, 81, of Parker, CO, passed away on May 21, 2009 in Parker. Charles was born on June 20, 1927 in Liberal, KS, the son of Frank and Nettie (Brewer) Garner.

During WWII he joined the Army. On June 4, 1952, he married Angeline Sodsma in Denver. He worked for Ringsby Truck Lines from 1952-1976, then joined Yellow Freight in Denver, and retired in 1985. He and his wife, Angie traveled around the country for 16 years in their 5th wheel.

He is survived by his wife, Angie of Parker; his 4 sons, Harlan (Wendy) of Bennett, David (Debbie) of Bennett, Keith, of Sterling, Roger (Lisa) of Parker; 4 grandsons, Shane and Austin of Parker, Zach, and Trevor of Bennett.

A memorial service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, May 26, at 10:00 a.m., at Parker Funeral Home, Inc., 10325 Parkglenn Way, Parker. A private burial will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Denver Hospice, 561 S. Cherry St. Denver, CO.
