Services for Dwight David Caldwell of Itta Bena will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.

Mr. Caldwell, 46, died of cancer Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.

He was a mechanic at Matthews Auto Repair until his health failed. He was a member of I John Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his mother, Daisy Mae Caldwell of Itta Bena; two sons, Dwight Kentrail Brown of Greenwood and Dwight Davis Caldwell II of Itta Bena; a daughter, Tenika Wilson of Greenwood; six brothers, Levarn Jones of Itta Bena, James Jones of Meridianville, Ala., Derrick Webster of Ruleville, Christopher Webster of Greenwood, Donald Butler of Birmingham, Ala., and Dennis Butler of Odenton, Mass.; 10 sisters, Patricia Ratliff of Greenville, Eura Jean Shaw of Ruleville, Christine Brown of Grenada, Samantha Caldwell of Greenwood, Sharon Caldwell, Martha Griggs, Pamela Coleman and Donna Womack, all of Itta Bena, and Annie B. Cockrall and Lillie B. Webster, both of St. Louis; and one grandchild.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday at Century Funeral Home.

The Rev. James E. Ratliff will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be Melvin Booker, Brandon Caldwell, Author Harris, Cedric Hart, Bubba Matthews, Robert Prichett Jr., Alan Hawkins, Lekedrick Herring, Sammy Stanley, Robert Pritchett Sr. and LeKenrall Parker.

Honorary pallbearers will be Levarn Jones, James Jones, Derrick Webster, Christopher Webster, Donald Butler, Dennis Butler, Dwight Caldwell and Xavier Mannings.

Burial will be in I John Church Cemetery in Doddsville.
