A memorial service for Sarah Kathyrn Crowe will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Church of the Way in Meridian.

Mrs. Crowe, 76, of Meridian, died Monday, Aug. 31, 2009. She was born September 23, 1933 in Moultrie, Ga. to the late Eugene Chester and Mary Marie Bostick.

She was a longtime resident of Meridian, and a member of the Church of the Way where she greatly enjoyed singing. She used her floral design and decorating talents to beautify many homes, wedding ceremonies, and businesses throughout Meridian.

Survivors include her daughters, Cynthia Marie Looper and her husband, Stan, of Texas, Sarah Frances Gazzara and her husband Gene, and Samantha Lea Wright and her husband, Ken, all of Florida; and two grandsons, Riley Benjamin Noble and Spencer Christian Noble, both of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

The family requests donations be made to her church family at Church of the Way.
