Rites for Miss Abel Wednesday
Funeral services for Clara Viola Abel, of Lena, who died Sunday morning at a local hospital, will be held at the Eclipse church at 2 o'clock (MST) Wednesday. Burial will be in the Eclipse cemetery. Mrs. Nellie Van Meter, pastor, will be in charge of funeral services.
Mrs. Abel died at the age of 33 years, 10 months and 29 days. She was ill for two months.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Florence Abel, three sisters, Dorothy, Mrs. Helen Ashmead of Lena, and Mrs. Ann Longs of Denver, three brothers, George of Lena, and Donald who is attending the agricultural school in Curtis. A sister, Edna Pearl preceeded her in death. Albert Abel of North Platte is her uncle and Mrs. E. S. Rose of Maxwell and George Abel of Maxwell, uncle and aunt, also survive.
The body will be taken from North Platte to Eclipse Wednesday morning. Maloney-Cox-Kuhns Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Rites Held for Miss Clara Abel
Funeral rites for Miss Clara Viola Abel, who died Sunday, were held yesterday afternoon at 3 p.m. (MST) at the Eclipse church with Mrs. Nellie Van Meter, rector, officiating. Burial was in Eclipse cemetery.
Mrs. Robert Praphagan and Mrs. Riley Pinerton, accompanied by Mrs. Emerson Hogue at the organ, sang "Asleep in the Arms of Jesus," "Rock of Ages," and "The Old Rugged Cross."
Pal bearers were Marvin Huffman, Mortan Haney, Gordon Bassett, Harry Pinkerton, Marvin Tucker and Wilton Berryman.
