MRS. ARTHUR PIEPER
Mrs. Arthur Pieper, 66, of Millersville, died at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital Tuesday afternoon following a lingering illness.
The former Ella Voss, she was born July 20, 1896, in the Town of Meeme, a daughter of the late Fred and Caroline Voss. On Dec. 20, 1913, she was married to Arthur Pieper at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in the Town of Herman.
Since their marriage, the couple farmed near Millersville.
Mrs. Pieper was a member of St. Paul's Congregation and the Ladies Aid Society.
Survivors are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Melvin (Lorraine) Laack, Mrs. Nelson (Sophie) Kuhn, and Mrs. Gilbert (Irma) Reseburg, all of Millersville; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Walter Pieper of Ada; and three brothers, Fred Voss of Newton, Walter Rau of Sheboygan, and William DeKarske of Manitowish. One sister also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in the Town Herman. The Rev. Henry Juroff, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Walter H. Ahrens Funeral Home in Howards Grove from 4 p.m. Thursday until 11 a.m. Friday, then at the church from noon.
A memorial fund for St. Paul's Church has been established in Mrs. Pieper's name.
