IUKA - Marcus Sid Lambert, 76, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was a lifelong welder, originally working at Kraft Foods in Booneville. He later became the owner and operator of Lambert Welding in Iuka, retiring after 40 years. He enjoyed fishing.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka with Bro. Frank Baswell officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Springs Cemetery.

Survivors include a brother, John O. "Bobby" Lambert of Booneville; three sisters, Okema Trulove and Gilda Lloyd, both of Tupelo, and Kelyon Hathcock of Booneville; three grandchildren, Rena Brumley and husband, John, of Booneville, Pamela Bacon of Pontotoc and Butchie Lambert of Jackson; seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Armada Horton Lambert; a son, Sidney Watson "Butch" Lambert; his parents, Oscar and Eloise Lambert; and a brother, Cullan Hugh Lambert.

Pallbearers will be Scott Trulove, Wade Trulove, Jimmy Lambert, Hubert Bishop, Eric Lambert and Billy George.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m.. today at the funeral home.
