Carl Monroe Dearduff, 80, Rt. 1, Montpelier, died Wednesday (7 May 1986) at his home after suffering an apparent heart attack. Mr. Dearduff had been a construction worker and was retired from the Willman Lumber Company, Hartford City. He is survived by a daughter, Miriam Barlow, Montpelier; four brothers, Howard and Paul, both of Hartford City, Lawrence, Lakeland, Florida, and Ed, St. Louis, Missouri; three sisters, Mrs. Clara Gilbert, Zephyrhills, Florida, Dorothy Harrold, Fort Wayne, and Helen, New Castle, and two grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Walker Funeral Home, 109 W. Windsor Street, Montpelier, with the Rev. Craig Murray officiating. Burial will be in the Hartford City IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
