Funeral service will be held in Lumsden United Church Friday at 2 p m. for Mrs. Catherine Ann Cars, of Lumsden, who died in hospital Tuesday, aged 80. [???] J. Sangster will officiate and burial will be in Lunsden cemetery. Born in Maxville, Ont., in 1879, Mrs. Carss came west in 1908 to Lumsden where she homesteaded. Predeceased by her husband in 1958, Mrs. Carss is survived by two sons, Gordon, [???] and Harold, Saskatoon; two daughters, Mrs. H. D. Watson, Edmonton, and Mrs. R. Davidson, Windsor, Ont.; two sisters, Mrs. A. F. Milton, Saskatoon, and Mrs. D. Gunn, Lac La Hache, B C.; and nine grandchildren.
