JABEZ B. HAYNES
Jabez B. Haynes was born August 23, 1856 near Brandenburg, Kentucky, where he lived until 1901, removing at that time to Alden, Oklahoma, where he took a homestead, living there until the spring of 1917 moving from there to Eads, Colorado, where he lived until his death July 2, 1924.
In early life he united with the Baptist Church, living a conscientious Christian life.
On July 3, 1887, Jabez B. Haynes and Frankie Brown were united in marriage. Eight children were born to this union; all of whom are living except William C. Haynes, who died 17 Sep 1917. Those living are Eula M. and Ethel A. Haynes, Bessie L. Musgrave, Allie Wood, John E., James O, and Vera E. Haynes.
A loving husband and father and a kind friend and neighbor to all who knew him, always patient, and cheerful until the last.
Sleep on beloved,
Sleep and take thy rest.
Lay down thy head upon thy Savior's breast;
We love thee well, but Jesus loves thee best.
Good Night,
Until we meet again before His throne,
Clothed in the spotless robes He gives His own,
Until we know even as we are known,
Good Night.
